Job Description

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan and control production in the areas of Receiving, Customer Returns, Stock Management, Inventory, Customer Complaints, Picking, Packing and Shipping.
  • Be the interface with internal and external areas of the warehouse in order to optimize its production, clarify questions and attend priorities / exceptions.
  • Control and update area KPIs (developing new KPIs when applicable).
  • Apply Lean and quality tools in case of process deviations and / or opportunities for improve the processes.
  • Closely work with warehouse operations to identify opportunities for improvement and transfer ideas into tangible process or system changes.
  • Analyze, propose, implement, and test process along with WMS configuration changes and/or change requests in cooperation/coordination with the Bosch central CI department
  • Create end-to-end warehouse process documentation and provide training to the operational team to ensure the desired benefits are achieved
  • Support operational reporting activities (WMS, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

Other Workplace Considerations: 

Must be able to lift up to 75lbs in weight on certain jobs.

Applicants must be able to work the required shift:  1:30pm – 10:00pm; must be able to work overtime and Saturdays as required and must be able to work reasonable overtime as required by warehouse demand up to and including Sundays.

 

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED Required and Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Analytics is a differential
  • 3+ years of experience with warehouse/distribution center processes, layouts, systems, designs
  • 3+ years of experience in any of the following warehouse management systems: Red Prairie, BlueYonder, SAP EWM (Key-User / Super User Level Skills is considered differential)
  • Experience in analytics platforms (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, MS Access) and SQL coding
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel (advanced level is differential) and in other Microsoft Office products (such as Word, Power point, etc)
  • Very good analytical, creative, and communicative skills to analyze problems.
  • Teamwork Skills - Candidate Must Be flexible in their work style and Be able to work with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels, and have conflict resolution skills.

Salary Range:

Individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
