Senior AI Engineering Consultant

About the Job:

As a Sr. AI Engineering Consultant, you will be critical in building and delivering new AI capabilities and integrations into new and existing products within the OneStream platform. You will sit at the intersection of the application engineering team, the
implementation delivery team, and the AI engine team and will be tasked with going end to end-in a product-market-fit lifecycle.

The AI Product and Engineering team is focused on bridging the gap between AI research and AI products, bringing tangible and quantifiable value to our end users. Our AI solutions incorporate AI and machine learning spectrum, including (but not limited to) time series forecasting, anomaly detection, and natural language processing. Our mission is to lower the barrier for organizations and people to get value out of AI capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable AI integrations, applications, and services that interop with other existing OneStream products to “supercharge” existing applications with AI capabilities.
• Lead design sessions to decompose a business problem into a design complex systems and interfaces, ensuring they meet both technical and user requirements. 
• Interact, collaborate, and present to a diverse set of stakeholders (developers, sponsors, executives) to deliver AI Integration.
• Support and occasionally lead go-to-market activities around new AI integrations.
• Enable other developers and consulting partner firms to build AI capabilities on top of our AI offering.
• Must be a self-starter, continuously learning both best code practices and the latest applications and failures of AI in
• products, and domains of the products you integrate our AI capabilities into.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack, from the user interface to the database layer to ensure the reliability
• of the AI integrations delivered.
• Develop both client-side and server-side parts of an application.
• Demo the AI integrations you and your team have built for customers, analysts, and other internal teams.
• Rapidly prototype capabilities to prove product-market-fit opportunities to stakeholders.
• From time to time, lead and consult on AI customer implementations.

Qualities of a Successful Candidate:

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data science, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• CS/DS/EE/CE Degree or similar experience.

Knowledge and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience building and deploying production-level machine learning solutions or similar experience.
• 3-5 years of strong programming experience with one of the following: Python, C++, C, CSharp, Java, Rust, or Go (or similar experience).
• 1-3 Experience in delivery/consulting services.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Python and the following packages: polars, pandas, plotly, sklearn.
• Experience with data storytelling and Python data visualization packages (plotly, dash, seaborn, etc.).
• Experience with relational databases and blob storage technologies.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-based computing.
