The Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE) plays a central and critical function within Delta Dental. Our focus is on governing our data assets, enabling business insights, and promoting the use of data and analytics. This position will support our efforts by performing key data and analytics functions, including, but not limited to:
- Performing data analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Works with Technology and business stakeholders to streamline and automate data process
- Supporting Data Governance efforts to document data sources, metrics definitions, and calculations
- Performs Quality Assurance and User Testing to implement data and analytics solutions
- Maintains our Data & Analytics communications channels (e.g. SharePoint, Confluence) with new and updated information
- Supports various Data Governance and Data Analytics initiatives
- Assists in requirements gathering and documentation
- Uses data governance tools to document metrics and KPIs
- Conducts exploratory data analysis and apply statistical methods to analyze data and generate insights.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) to conduct data quality, profiling and automate data processes
- Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $46,359.14 - $93,100
