HybridAdvanced Aircraft Computing (AAC) business area within C4I & Autonomy Solutions is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the business as the Principal Program Cost and Schedule Analyst. This position requires a proactive, independent, and analytical leader. This opportunity will play a dual role, Program execution and FP&A responsibilities for the AAC Product area.
This is a challenging position that provides exposure to Advanced Aircraft Computing leadership and Secure Mission Solution LT team. This role will serve as a strategic business partner and require a close relationship with the AAC Business Manager and Senior Program Manager as well as ability to work across all functions. The applicant will also need the ability to build strong cross functional partnerships as well as good working relationships with the program analysts, program managers, and business area leads to ensure a strong understanding of the strategy and programs. The candidate will collaborate to ensure the successful execution of quarterly EACs, monthly LRE’s as well as AOP forecasting and maintenance.
This position is being offered in a hybrid capacity. Onsite work will be expected 1-2 times per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide effective financial administrative planning and control on fixed price programs.
- Perform analysis of program cost and schedule performance, identifying trends, and provide information to Project Leadership Team (PLT)
- Prepare and analyze contract Estimates at Complete (EACs).
- Annual Operating Plan Development and 5-Year strategic planning
- Forecasting planning and reporting – Monthly
- Balance sheet – work with team on unbilled and quarterly reporting
- Support Program Management in assessing program risks and opportunities.
- Continuously look for improvements to processes and forecasting accuracy.
- Ad hoc requests for the business area
- Work with multiple levels of financial, engineering, and program management.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- Experience with Earned Value Management practices and procedures, including scheduling fundamentals and system tool usage
- Experience in Financial Planning and Analysis
- Advanced skills in Microsoft tools, APEX, Analysis for Office, Rplan
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active and transferable DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience or exposure to performing cost control and analysis functions in a U.S. Government, multi-CLIN contracting environment.
- Experience in DoD and/or Aerospace
- Experience in EVMS application and execution (ability to effectively analyze EVMS data to communicate and present information)
- Experience in PRISM EV and ETC
