As a GE Appliances’ Senior Manager, Product - Unitary HVAC, Residential, you’ll serve as a recognized subject matter expert for the residential ducted unitary HVAC portfolio and be responsible for driving product execution, lifecycle management, and commercial performance across assigned product lines. This role contributes directly to the development and execution of product plans and multi-year roadmaps, partnering closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Sales, and Marketing to ensure products are delivered on time, on cost, and aligned to customer and business needs. Operating with limited oversight, the Senior Manager, Product bridges technical development and market requirements to deliver profitable, competitive solutions within the broader Air & Water Ecosystem’s strategy.Position

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management
· Serve as the product owner and subject matter expert for assigned residential ducted unitary HVAC product lines.
· Contribute to the development and execution of multi-year product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business strategy and adjacent Air & Water portfolios.
· Manage full product lifecycle activities, including product planning, new product introduction (NPI), sustainment, and end-of-life transitions.
· Drive product line profitability through disciplined feature prioritization, cost targets, and value propositions, in alignment with functional goals.
New Product Introduction (NPI) Execution
· Drive cross-functional alignment and execution for NPI programs, partnering with Technology from concept through production launch and post-launch support.
· Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, quality, manufacturing, sourcing, regulatory, and suppliers to deliver approved product specifications, agency certifications, and launch readiness.
· Identify and resolve complex technical, commercial, and execution challenges that arise during development and launch.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence
· Drive cross-functional alignment and execution to deliver committed product and program outcomes.
· Provide direction, coaching, and review of work for supporting team members and extended team contributors involved in product execution.
· Act as the primary point of contact for product-related decisions within the assigned portfolio.
Market & Commercial Support
· Partner with Sales and Product Marketing to translate market insights into product requirements, MGPDs, and NPI plans.
· Support commercialization activities, including pricing inputs, channel strategy considerations, and launch readiness.
· Contribute to the development of customer-facing materials such as sell sheets, installation guides, service documentation, and training content.
· Support major industry and distributor trade shows (e.g., AHR, IBS, HARDI, ACCA, regional distributor events).
Supply & Transition Management
· Collaborate with PSI and Sales teams to support product availability, inventory objectives, and smooth product transitions.
· Support forecasting, lifecycle transitions, and issue resolution related to supply continuity and customer impact.
