iFLY is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join our fast-growing team. The HR Generalist is a critical member of the HR team, supporting both Corporate and Tunnel Team Members.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR Team in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures.
  • Contribute when needed to recruiting efforts such as screening applicants and creating job offers.
  • Optimize iFLY’s digital recruitment and brand management through job sites and social media mediums.
  • Conduct background checks and complete new hire orientations.
  • Work with the HR Manager on annual compliance reporting and filings to ensure reports are accurate and filed on time (EEO-1, OSHA, 1095s, ACA, etc.)
  • Complete unemployment claims and send to state agencies in a timely manner.
  • Work with the HR Manager to administer implementation of new/updated state and federal regulations and applicable employment laws.
  • Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
  • Process employment verifications, tuition reimbursement, and team member referrals.
  • Maintain the HRIS (UKG) and run regular monthly reports as needed.
  • Approve compensation changes, allocate bonuses and submit earnings to employee profiles appropriately.
  • Monitor UKG’s People Assist tickets and assign requests appropriately to HR Team Members.
  • Audit Team Member acknowledgments in UKG and follow-up to ensure completion.
  • Maintain workers compensation cases by uploading medical appointment reports and informing HR Business Partners and Operation teams of injury progress as needed.
  • Support benefits administration to include managing life events in UKG, reviewing eligibility reports, coordinating open enrollment sessions, and answering basic benefit questions for Team Members.
  • Manage HR mail – scan and pick up mail at the Austin, TX tunnel.
  • Assist with bi-weekly payroll tasks.
  • Assist and help manage company reporting (BI, Merilytics, etc.)
  • Manage contact information for HR Team’s vendors, (i.e., Concentra, Convercent, Guardian, UHC, etc.)
  • Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve the Team Member experience.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

 

Work Experience and Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED; Associates degree preferred
  • 3+ years Human Resources required
  • 3+ years benefits administration and program coordination experience required
  • Intermediate understanding of HR programs
  • Intermediate understanding and knowledge of employment laws, legal compliance filings, and HR concepts
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems, preferably with a cloud-based system such as UKG
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
  • Ability to analyze data and organize into reports and/or presentations
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Keen eye for accuracy
