Digital Optometry Product Lead (f/m/x) @ Carl Zeiss Extended Reality (XRX)

A cross-functional lead driving development of online eye measurement solutions (self-refraction and centration) to enable direct-to-consumer sales of vision correction for extended reality devices. This role combines optometry expertise, technical product development, and business acumen to launch robust, accurate, scalable online vision measurement services. 

Your role 

• Define clinical and technical requirements for online eye testing and centration 

• Understand limitations and barriers and lead mitigation 

• Drive product development and user validation  

• Serve as interface between optometry experts, engineers and business units 

• Oversee regulatory compliance and quality assurance  

• Educate internal stakeholders and customers about product features and benefits 

• Analyze user and data to guide product improvements 

• Monitor global remote ophthalmology trends and seek to integrate solutions  

• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure product viability, desirability and seamless integration 

Your profile 

• Practical optometry/clinical vision science experience, in-store optical retail experience 

• Experience in digital product management and development 

• Project management and cross-functional leadership capabilities 

• Data driven decision-making with a focus on user experience and innovation 

• Knowledge of regulatory and data privacy frameworks in vision care<
