Job Description:

Your way to impact:

You will be responsible for strategically designing new features and connections in our Consumer experiences. You’ll work with and lead other product managers as well as engineering and design to build out and execute a product roadmap within the Consumer space. You will investigate data around our existing products and review where the largest opportunities may be to grow and expand our target audiences, manage request intake and feature scoping, and participate in agile ceremonies to drive the execution and launch of new features. You will be the point person for your domain, balancing customer desires, business requirements, legal/compliance, growth and monetization considerations.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Lead a cross-functional team in creating and launching innovative mobile-first experiences 

  • Understand Venmo’s strategic and competitive position in the market to develop a product strategy and roadmap for your domain 

  • Analyze, quantify, and articulate trade-offs of product roadmap features  

  • Identify, design, experiment and iterate on initiatives leveraging usability testing, data, and market research 

  • Define and analyze key performance metrics to support and inform product decisions 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, market, and launch product 

  • Use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making 

 

 

What You Need To Bring:

  • 6+ years of consumer web or mobile product management experience 

  • Proven track record of delivering successful large-scale mobile products 

  • Comfortable using data and analytics to inform product hypotheses and decisions 

  • Ability to lead a team of product managers, cross-functional groups and drive action in high-growth environments 

  • Deep empathy and appreciation for user needs 

  • Experience designing simple and intuitive user interfaces 

  • Strong sense for visual design and detail 

  • Experience in Payments or Consumer Financial Services is a plus
