Job Description Summary
As a member of the Steam Power Services Inquiry to Remittance (ITR) leadership team within Gas Power Engineering, the Nuclear Services Engineering Leader is responsible for rotating equipment engineering services for the Nuclear Services Business Segment of Steam Power Services. These engineering services encompass a broad range, from spare parts identification through to upgrades of steam turbine generators (STG), accessories and controls, aimed at facilitating extended power uprates for nuclear power plants as our customers seek to extend operational life to 60-80 years.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering services for nuclear steam turbine generators (STG), accessories, and controls, supporting life extension and power uprate projects.
- Define and execute nuclear-focused engineering priorities across ITR and Gas Power Engineering teams.
- Drive productivity and reduce lead times for nuclear upgrade orders.
- Implement lean practices centered on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
- Maintain and improve reliability of STG systems in nuclear applications.
- Build strategic relationships with nuclear utilities, OEMs, and regulatory bodies.
- Provide technical leadership across outage support, upgrades, and long-term service agreements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of engineering leadership experience in the nuclear power industry, with a focus on steam turbine generators.
- Deep understanding of nuclear plant operations, outage planning, and turbine-generator systems.
- Familiarity with nuclear regulatory frameworks, including NRC, ASME Section III & XI, and IEEE standards.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles, with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Demonstrated success in lean implementation and strategic problem-solving.

The base pay range for this position is $152,400.00 - 203,200.00 USD Annual. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 15% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity.

*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
