About the role:

The Associate Director, Commercial Integration & Pricing is responsible for ensuring organizational effectiveness and excellence in support of the US UCC Selling organization. The Associate Director will work across the US UCC organization to ensure prioritization and alignment of critical business initiatives, especially those requiring integration between the UCC Commercial team and the resources within the BDX US Region Commercial Operations Team. The Associate Director will also develop and lead the execution of a strategic roadmap which ensures there is an integrated US UCC vision and strategies that are aligned with the US Region and WW UCC BU plans. This role reports directly to the US VP/GM UCC Sales and will be a member of the UCC US Sales Leadership Team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Enhance collaboration and alignment with US Region centralized resources, enabling efficiencies and ensuring consistency with business practices across the organization
  • Build a cross-platform pricing approval and compliance process to improve discipline and GP consistent with BDX inflationary pricing strategy
  • Create a clear and single source of analytics tools/reports to inform decision-making and strategy across the business, driving the reduction of the number of data platforms (and conversion to SFDC) over time
  • Lead the development and on-going inspection of funnel execution (Win Room) across all four platforms
  • Generate and maintain GPO Performance Report to include incremental growth/loss, GP by GPO and price gain/loss metrics
  • Develop clear recommendations around building an integrated UCC strategy through the ASR period, considering customer strategy, market insights, and internal and external analytics.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Business Solutions, Clinical Solutions, Service, BDX US Region, WW UCC BU) that lead to the highest levels of collaboration, effectiveness, and insight
  • Understand emerging healthcare industry trends and assess their potential impact on commercial operations strategies
  • Lead a team of three associates with responsibilities for analytics requests and Salesforce.com initiatives and maintenance
  • Lead/support other critical initiatives as defined by the US VP/GM of Sales
  • Travel will be required for quarterly meetings in Covington, GA, any specific trainings where analytics is required and the annual National Sales Meeting

  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple deliverables and shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with external leaders and key influencers, build credibility and challenge stakeholders to drive initiatives and deliver high-impact solutions to meet business needs
  • Previous working experience with general management and P&L responsibility in a domestic or regional business leadership role
  • Proven ability to establish goals, set clear expectations, prioritize activities and follow-through with timely execution of objectives with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication/presentation, listening/assessment, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; project management skills preferred
  • Proficient in the use of technology including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, Outlook, Workday, Saleforce.com

Education and experience required:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • Preference for major in technical field or business/marketing

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years business experience
  • Prior Sales, Marketing, or other commercial leadership experience
