Patient Care Technician- Ortho Unit- Nights

Position Highlights:

Position: Patient Care Technician / CNA

Unit: Orthopedic Unit- Inpatient

Location: Main Hospital, Arlington Heights IL

Hours: 7pm-730am or 11pm - 730am / Every other weekend

Shift: Night Shift

Part time/Full Time: Full Time- 36 hours per week

•    Hourly Pay Range: $17.00 - $27.32. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
•    Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to [$18.84] base pay hourly rate beginning with May 2025 paychecks. 
 

What you will need:

• The level of knowledge normally obtained through the completion of high school.  Candidates who are part of a CNA apprenticeship program will also be considered.  Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
•  Completion of an accredited CNA course and the successful completion of the CNA certification exam, EMT or paramedics training course, current enrollment in an accredited nursing program with completion of at least one major clinical medical or surgical rotation required.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

General Summary:

Reporting to the Clinical Manager or designee, with accountability to the care team, provides basic nursing and personal care to patients as delegated by and under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Licensed Practicing Nurse. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age(s) of the patients served on the assigned unit.
