Director of Supply Chain Technology, Projects, and Testing

Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Director of Supply Chain Technology, Projects & Testing. The overall goal for the position will be to ensure that the manufacturing equipment & technology is developed, established, maintained, and continuously improved to meet Danfoss Drives business objectives in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead a team of highly specialized, competent, and committed technology experts
• Ensure Danfoss Drives maintain high level of SC technology expertise
• Manage Project plans and targets in strong collaboration with Danfoss stakeholders
• Represent SC Management in cross functional New Product Development
• Drive the Manufacturing footprint development and optimization projects
• Ensure the financial feasibility in projects through CAPEX and cost calculation
• Build relationships to relevant external stakeholders like universities etc.

Background & Skills

Required (basic) qualifications
•    Bachelor’s in engineering 
•    Experience from Industrial and/or Electronics manufacturing setups
•    Knowledgeable about and experienced in Manufacturing Technologies
•    Leadership experience from either direct management or project management

Preferred qualifications
•    MBA is preferred
•    Leadership experience leading leaders 
•    Previous experience operating in a global company

•    The job requires both sitting/standing and walking activities within our Loves Park facility.
 

Compensation Data

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $136,000 - $170,000 annual salary range. Base salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
