The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking Custodians to work in our factory in Mason, OH.  Successful candidates must be willing to contribute improvements suggestions and ideas to help continue the success of our facility. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated along with demonstrate adaptability and willingness to work in a team orientated, fast paced work environment.  This position requires individuals to perform general cleaning duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards. 

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Candidates must be available to work all shifts including second, third & weekends and holidays

• Ability to lift and carry 25 – 50 lbs on a regular basis.

• Outstanding attendance record.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and adhere to Quality standards.

• Achieve qualified score on job skills assessment (as required), to be administered after receiving a passing interview score

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 3rd shift 10pm to 6am (variable based on assigned work)

Overtime is possible and will be either 4 hours before or after the regular shift

Weekend work possible based on customer demand

Responsibilities & Duties:

• The purpose of a housekeeping program is to provide a clean and sanitary environment and to reduce the risk of contamination during the handling of food products. This program must provide environmental cleaning activities that will maintain clean support areas such as restrooms, locker rooms, break areas, and office areas. This program is important for sustaining customer satisfaction and employee morale. It is important the factory maintains a professional image in each of the supporting areas of the facility in a timely manner. It is essential that this program be designed to accomplish this objective and remain economically feasible, while it meets or exceeds all of the regulatory requirements. The responsibility required of this individual will include the following.

Custodian Responsibilities:

•       Clean and Maintain:

  • Front Offices:  13,005 sq. ft. (offices, conference rooms, lobby, hallways)

  • Main Cafeteria: 2,438 sq. ft.

  • Men’s and Women’s Restrooms/Locker rooms: 1,408 sq. ft.

  • Upstairs Offices / Sales Mezzanine: 3, 726 sq.ft.
