Director, Multicloud Product Marketing

As Director of Multicloud Product Marketing at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), you will shape and lead the strategic vision, positioning, and go-to-market execution for OCI’s advanced multicloud services. A primary focus of this role is managing comprehensive marketing campaigns for innovative offerings such as Database@Azure, Database@GCP, and Database@AWS. In this senior leadership position, you will drive market awareness and customer engagement for OCI Multicloud solutions, collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and global marketing teams to accelerate adoption. Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of global marketing strategies to position OCI as a leader in multicloud, hybrid cloud, and cloud migration solutions.
- Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns for Database@Azure, Database@GCP, and Database@AWS, partnering with engineering and product teams to ensure effective messaging and impactful market positioning.
- Create differentiated value propositions, messaging, and product positioning to address the needs of both technical and business audiences.
- Build and mentor a high-performing product marketing team, cultivating talent and aligning team goals with organizational priorities.
- Partner with product management and engineering to communicate the vision, benefits, and roadmap of OCI Multicloud services to internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee and manage global launch and enablement plans for new products and features, including content, sales tools, competitive analysis, and field training.
- Develop market and competitive intelligence through ongoing research and analysis to inform marketing strategies and support product planning.
- Establish strong relationships with sales, channel, and alliances organizations to drive pipeline growth and accelerate revenue.
- Measure and optimize marketing campaign effectiveness, product adoption, and market impact using data-driven methodologies.
- Serve as a thought leader, delivering presentations, participating in industry events, and creating content that boosts brand visibility and authority in multicloud.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a closely related field preferred; bachelor’s degree required.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in product marketing, with a strong track record in cloud computing, SaaS, or enterprise software.
- Proven ability to develop and lead high-impact go-to-market campaigns for technical cloud offerings, including cross-cloud database solutions.
- Solid understanding of multicloud strategies, trends, and competition, including experience with cloud migration and hybrid deployments.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience influencing executive and technical audiences.
- Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to measuring marketing ROI and supporting business decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership in building and mentoring marketing teams.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, balancing strategic thinking with effective execution in a dynamic, global environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience launching innovative products in a fast-paced or startup environment.
- Technical background or experience working directly with cloud engineering teams.
- Relevant industry or product marketing certifications.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
