Overview
The Facility Services Director is responsible for the overall operations of plant services for the campus including strategic capital budgeting, operational budgeting, planning of daily work using work order system, directing team to ensure priorities are clearly outlined, appropriate allocation of resources including internal and external labor and human resource related leadership of the maintenance team. Maintains optimum working order of the facility as well as service areas in resident and general areas of the facility and grounds. Ensures a safe environment is maintained through consistent compliance with regulatory and RHS standards.

What you will do
  • Ensures the facility/department is in compliance with applicable regulatory statutes, standards of care, job performance and competency standards.
  • Provides effective human resources management to maximize employee and organizational performance.
  • Operates department within established budgetary guidelines, ensuring RHS accounting controls are maintained.
  • Oversees work of Facilities Project Manager to ensure service standards and compliance with regulatory bodies and RHS standards of practice are maintained.
  • Continuously improves the delivery and outcomes of comprehensive, quality, personalized patient/customer care economically and in accordance with patient safety standards, standards of excellence and the Riverside Code of Conduct.
  • Responsible for the orientation, assignment of work tasks, supervision, staffing and training of direct reports.
  • Implements feedback methods including coordination with Building and Grounds Committee, rounding and customer surveys to ensure high service levels are provided.
  • Coordinates payroll functions to include time verification, sign off, payroll inquiries to minimize payroll adjustments.
  • Coordinates stock & supplies to ensure adequate inventory.

Qualifications

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED, (Required)
  • Bachelors Degree, Related Field, or 5 years of commensurate experience (Preferred)

Experience
  • 1 year Recent relevant experience (Required)
  • 1 year Supervisory experience (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid Drivers License Required
