JOB SUMMARY: This paid summer internship position is for Cherry Creek School District (CCSD) students that meet the minimum qualifications listed below. This position is for 6 weeks starting in early Jun to mid-July and will provide support to the Information Systems Department. The hours for this position are Monday – Friday from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, excluding federal holidays.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following tasks describe the basic functions of the job and represent the type of work performed. They do not constitute an exhaustive list of the duties and responsibilities performed on the job. The following frequencies and percentage of time spent are approximations only and are subject to flexibility dependent on organizational needs.
- Provide support for desktop computers and laptops such as inventory, cleaning, imaging, and repairs. [Daily, 95%]
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. [Daily, 5%]
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum amounts of formal education, professional work experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities that must be met for a candidate to be considered for a position
- Must be 16 years of age upon application submission
- Currently a student enrolled within Cherry Creek School District
- Enrolled in or completed a CCSD home high school technology course/class
- Letter of recommendation from Technology Teacher or CCSD Technology professional
- Must have a strong desire to start a career in the technology field
- Basic knowledge of computers
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar products
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Intermediate organization skills
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate interpersonal relations and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
- Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire
