Ivy Tech seeks a Finance and Funding Specialist to work in the business office of our Evansville, IN campus. This role supports the Business Office Manager, provides operating budget function and compliance tracking. This role also serves as Grant Finance Designee for the Evansville campus.

Major Responsibilities:  

·         Maintain operating budget designated for specific purposes.

·         Ensure proper classification of transactions and working with departments on adjustments.

·         Prepare Payroll Accounting Adjustment, as needed, in coordination with local HR department and Sponsored Programs Office.

·         Maintain gift funds by tracking appropriate expenses, billing the foundation, and process checks from the foundation.

·         Serve as back up for compliance for non-grant related purchasing and travel expense compliance.

·         Assist leadership with grant and college policy compliance. Review grant award contracts for accuracy.

Hiring Range:

·         $42,000 - $48,000 annually based on experience

Work Hours:  

·         Typical business work hours, may be adjusted during peak times.

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's degree in related field with relative experience OR 2-4 years related experience.

·         This is an in-person position at our campus in Evansville, IN. Remote work is not available.

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Previous experience with higher education institution or not-for-profit organization.
