Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced engineer to join our Customer Success Team, a white-glove service for internal application teams, and a trusted advisor for RedHat OpenShift deployments. As the Customer Success Engineer, you will have a strong background in Linux containers, RedHat OpenShift, and software development or automation with a background in customer facing roles and strong communication skills is also highly desired since this is a customer facing role.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with application team members of all experience levels to deploy applications

  • Develop, test, and deploy pipelines automating container builds

  • Communicate the challenges of application teams to engineering and operations

  • Create and update documents detailing processes, best practices, and deployment examples

  • Lead Genius Bars and Tech Talk meetings with hundreds of application developers

  • Facilitate discussions with business leaders from different business units

How You’ll Lead

  • Bring challenges faced by customers to the engineering team

  • Discuss ongoing issues with operations

  • Disseminate information to application teams and the broader organization

Skills You’ll Need

  • Coding or scripting like: Java, C++, JavaScript, Bash, Python

  • Linux containers in a Kubernetes environment

  • Public speaking, written and verbal communications

  • Experience in troubleshooting automation of Linux container pipelines

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Cloud knowledge, particularly Google Cloud Platform

  • Automation platforms like Jenkins, TeamCity, GitOps, Ansible, Terraform

  • RedHat OpenShift, RHEL

  • Experience working with Application Programming Interface driven automation

  • Building strong relationships

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville, FL is $100,000 to $145,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
