Grad Intern - Global Labeling Strategy (GRAET)

What You Will Do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. During this program, you will support the Global Labeling GRAET (Global Regulatory Affairs Execution Team) team in the end-to-end labeling processes for pre- & post- marketed products over the various products life cycle. The Labeling Strategist Associate, supports the Global Labeling Strategy and Compliance team in development of the Core Labeling documents and USPI in accordance with Amgen Labeling Processes for assigned therapeutic area(s).

• Supports development (user friendly, international language, consistent across products) and maintenance of core labeling documents including cCDS, cPIL, and cIFU in addition to dCDS, dIFU, USPI, and Medguide
• Provides support to Labeling Strategists in Labeling Working Group
• Supports research for guidance on labeling regulations, requirements, competitor labeling, and labeling trends
• Assists in the creation of high-quality documents supporting changes to the core documents with internal and/or external experts and manages the annotations within those documents
• Assists the Labeling Strategists in collaborating with customer experience, human factors to review layouts with appropriate placement, meaning and tone

Basic Qualifications:

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

• 18 years or older
• Graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master’s program for a Master’s internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Master’s OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment
• Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
• Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship or co-op

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree concentration(s) in the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to excel in a highly collaborative, matrixed team environment

The base pay range for this opportunity in the U.S. is $30 - $40 per hour.
