The Community You Will Join:
- You’ll be joining our FP&A team within our Finance organization to focus on strategic planning & financial analysis, reporting to the Director of FP&A Community Support.
- You’ll be critical in supporting the Community Support (“CS”) team, driving meaningful strategic initiatives by working closely with senior leaders across the company to provide data-driven decision making.
- There'll be collaboration across finance on financial operations including budgeting, planning, monthly/quarterly close, forecasting, variance analysis, long-range planning, financial reporting, and P&L management.
- Partner with data science, operations leads, product managers, and finance to understand changes to key metrics.
- Work cross functionally with Community Support business leaders to surface insights and improve processes.

A Typical Day:
- Own the financial planning cycle and partner with business leaders to develop robust financial forecasts; translate financial results into operational recommendations to promote long-term growth and efficiencies across the business.
- Identify and size key opportunities to drive business impact through quantitative analysis (i.e. ROI analysis, scenario planning) and external research; create investment cases for new initiatives and help leadership prioritize resourcing.
- Build and maintain a driver-based cost model of the Community Support operations. Drive forecast and month-end close activities.
- Consolidate and analyze operating and financial results of the Community Support operations.
- Prepare materials for Monthly Business Review, Financial Review, and Board presentations.
- Define goals and own reporting of operating metrics and financial performance.
- Recommend actionable next steps and build consensus with teams to drive business outcomes.
Your Expertise:
- B.A. or B.S. from an accredited four-year college or university
- 8+ years of financial analysis experience
- Advanced modeling skills
- Proficiency with financial forecasting systems (Anaplan, Hyperion) is a plus
- Familiarity with SQL and data visualization software (Tableau) is a plus
How We'll Take Care of You:
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base pay for this role is between $160,000 and $188,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
