Job Summary
Develops and implements organizational changes meant to promote safety, quality and efficiency improvements.
Job Duties
• Evaluate internal processes and identify opportunities for safety, operational, quality, and efficiency improvements
• Collect, analyze, and interpret operational and production data to identify trends, process gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
• Establish key performance indicators for functions being reviewed, evaluate current state performance, and propose future state goals and objectives
• Create and maintain process maps, workflow diagrams, value stream maps, and visual documentation for operational processes
• Develop reporting methods, dashboards, and data tracking tools to monitor performance and support decision-making
• Oversee implementation of process changes and track progress toward efficiency, productivity, quality, and cost-saving goals
• Support root cause analysis and problem-solving activities using analytical and data-driven methodologies
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, warehouse, planning, quality, and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Identify opportunities for system enhancements, process automation, and improved digital workflows where applicable
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Perform work with a high degree of latitude
• Handle complex operational and analytical issues
Experience and Education
• Possess strong knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, data analysis, and process optimization techniques
• Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to peers
• Typically require a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Operations Management, or related field
• Experience in manufacturing systems, operational reporting, or process analytics preferred
