Commercial Plumber

Description

We are hiring experienced commercial plumbers to join our tenant improvement team. The work schedule is Sunday to Thursday 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. with a two-week training schedule and a three-month probation period. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years of recent experience in commercial plumbing on new construction or tenant improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing pipes such as: PVC, ABS, Cast Iron (no hub) and/or copper
• Install new fixtures according to manufacture specifications and municipal codes
• Install commercial gas and/or electric water heaters and tankless water heaters
• Install service for grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste, water systems and utilities within a commercial retail environment
• Perform manual labor to clean and prepare jobsites which includes but not limited to dig trenches, set braces to support excavations sides, erect scaffolding and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials
• Properly use equipment such as a jack hammers and saw cutters
• Read and layout from blueprints, plans and isometric drawings
• Must be able to work according to current OSHA safety guidelines and policies
• Additional duties assigned as needed to support the operations of the department

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of commercial plumbing experience
• Valid driver license with no more than two points or driving restrictions on the driving record
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Verbal and written English literacy for the use of cell phone and mobile email communication
