We are looking for a committed Software Development Engineer in Test/Automation Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. You will solve uniquely challenging problems for our Defense and Homeland Security customers. Help manage large volumes of critical, real-time information about issues from global to local. This role requires ability to obtain and maintain at minimum an active US DoD SECRET Security Clearance. An active DoD Secret clearance is preferred.

We are looking for a committed Software Development Engineer in Test/Automation Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Design, develop and maintain automated tests to ensure regression and feature coverage
- Participate in the software development life cycle from beginning to end
- Work closely with development and QA teams to identify test cases that can be automated
- Identify, troubleshoot and track bugs to resolution
- Create detailed and well structured test plans and cases that can be automated
- Assist to support System, Integration, Regression and User Acceptance testing
- Maintain and monitor CI/CD pipelines supporting automated tests
WHAT YOU HAVE DONE
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining automation suites for web applications
- Experience creating automated tests with Javascript or Java
- Experience using modern version control tool such as GIT and processes (e.g pull requests, branching, merging)
- Demonstrated experience in automated testing approaches and frameworks such as Selenium Webdriver or Cypress
- Working knowledge of Windows and LINUX
- Understanding of client-side Web Application technologies Javascript/HTML/CSS
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and HTTP
- Working knowledge of Browser debugging tools, Dev Console
- Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive and clear Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Reports
- Experience working with iterative and agile process
- Incorporated functional and non-functional business requirements in the test plan
EVEN BETTER
- Experience with Cypress or other JS based testing frameworks
- Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Experience testing applications built with ReactJS
- Experience coding in JavaScript to include modern frameworks and libraries
- Experience working with advanced automated testing approaches and technologies such as Docker, CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with the Atlassian suite of tool to include Jira, Confluence, and Stash
- Experience using load and performance testing tools such as Jmeter, Locust
