POSITION TITLE

LTCI - BGA Channel Leader

YOUR ROLE

The LTCI BGA Channel Leader will have sales leadership of our long term care insurance products, primarily in the BGA channel.   As CareScout is working towards launching products that solve the crises of aging, this hands-on, high impact position will directly influence how and where we reach those customers that need us the most.  The successful candidate will leverage existing industry knowledge and distribution expertise to develop, execute and monitor strategic plans and programs that support business goals and objectives of the LTC business.  This role will report to the Distribution Leader and will require extensive nationwide travel.

    

What you will be doing

  • Design, develop, and direct the execution of strategies to maximize growth of CareScout’s Long-Term Care business through the BGA channel 
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key BGAs
  • Partner with RVPs to implement strategy across territories
  • Develop and energize a world-class team of distribution, implementation, and account development professionals..
  • Assess current operational infrastructure and ensure the appropriate relationships, contracts, channels, etc. are in place and positioned to effectively deliver on business priorities.
  • Analyze and leverage data from market research to understand the competitive marketplace and share across the sales team
  • Identify new opportunities, and create strategies to penetrate untapped markets. 
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to develop innovative solutions for identified gaps/opportunities.
  • Actively embrace change and drive a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement within organization.​

What you bring

  • 10+ years experience in the Long Term Care marketplace with deep distribution experience in brokerage, financial institutions, affinity, associations, and direct to consumer channel
  • Firm track record of achieving results, people management and development, project management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong analytical aptitude.  Experienced at understanding market trends and leveraging evidence-based business strategies to drive business results.
  • Possess superior interpersonal skills, a passion for clear and transparent communication, and the ability to articulate a vision your team and the broader organization.
  • Ability to strategically build and foster relationships across functions. 
  • An action oriented, hands on, forward thinking leader
  • Prior success securing new accounts in a business development role.
  • Demonstrates a broad level of influence across the organization, with business partners, peer leaders and senior leaders.
  • Ability to set priorities and execute within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment. ​
