Job Description

• Lead North America Packaging Procurement Team and provide functional leadership to the Packaging Procurement staff in the region.
• Ensure organizational development that is aligned to the agreed strategies. Develop procurement skills and talent in the category.
• Ensure the implementation of sourcing strategies for Packaging sub-categories ensuring collaboration with Packaging Technology team to create the optimal balance in price, performance and quality of supplied items. 
• Provide and develop expertise in the relevant marketplace and supplier base.
• Ensure the team delivers on savings, risk management, compliance and Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) objectives.

This is a Hybrid position located in Greensboro, NC.

Qualifications

Required:

Ideally at least 10 years of business experience, to include:

• Experience in Procurement   
• Experience in Supply Chain
• Packaging Procurement/Development

Preferred:

• Excellent and demonstrated negotiating skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to influence
• Ability to collaborate
• Project management and change management
• Ability to establish relationships with business team members, regional and global procurement teams, and suppliers
