Responsibilities:

• Design of high-quality sealing systems for centrifugal pumps, according to customer specifications, in cooperation with interfaces in sales, development and production
• Project management for customer projects and technical development projects
• Active participation in the technical and organizational development of the technical department for pump seals
• Continuous development of products in cooperation with R&D
• Technical clarification with EagleBurgmann sales and customer contacts
• Preparation of designs and assembly drawings of mechanical seals (liquid-lubricated mechanical seals)
• Creation of modular systems and development of configuration tools in the field of design automation
• Creation of production drawings and parts lists
• Working in an international network of engineers
• Perception of the corporate lead function in product development

Qualifications:

• Completed engineering studies, preferably with a focus on mechanical engineering, design or production technology
• University graduates or professional experience in the field of mechanical engineering or development
• Basic knowledge of 3D CAD software
• Confident handling of MS-Office applications
• High detail orientation, proactive and self-reliant way of working
• Good communication skills, flexibility and ability to work in a team, as well as a high willingness to learn and work
• Strong "hands-on" mentality, reliability and professional appearance
• Fluent German and very good English skills
