Financial Strategy & Planning Senior Analyst

<p>The Financial Strategy and Planning Senior Specialist is responsible for the annual budget preparation, reporting and controlling, as well as the forecasting and explaining variances of actuals versus budget, aiming at facilitating and supporting the effective managerial decision-making.</p> <p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Coordinates and supports the budgeting process, by acting as advisor to the department Managers and safeguarding the timely budget submission.</li> <li>Gathers necessary financial and non-financial information from different departments and budget owners in order to draft an accurate and realistic annual budget.</li> <li>Reviews and validates proposed budget submissions from department Managers for accuracy and completeness, while informs the management of potential problem areas.</li> <li>Creates a consolidated budget version for management approval and disseminates the approved budget to the respective budget owners.</li> <li>Prepares standard reports, periodically, as well as ad hoc reports to support the controlling and forecasting processes.</li> <li>Compares actual results versus budget, at the end of each reporting period, and performs variance analyses to explain the deviations and to facilitate the managerial decision-making for corrective actions.</li> <li>Participates in the creation, update and maintenance of financial models and detailed forecasts of the Company's future operations</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Education, Skills and Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics from an accredited college or university.
