Mental Health Clinical Coordinator (64293)

We are currently seeking a Mental Health Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Wakulla Correctional Institution located in Crawfordville, Florida. 

Responsible for coordinating and monitoring clinical services to ensure the contracted behavioral health program meets the program-specific policy and Centurion contract.  Additional responsibilities include planning, coordinating, monitoring, and supporting behavioral health programs. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assists Psychological Services Director in coordinating program schedules, coverage and daily rounds  
• Serves as a liaison to facility security administration in collaboration with site leadership
• Ensure that clinical practices are consistent with ACA and NCCHC mental health standards
• Maintains communication and assist with responses to inquiries and concerns between onsite staff and regional/statewide staff
• Monitors access to care issues, support staff with escalation policy and track incident reports if required
• Coordinate MH weekly/monthly meetings with EMR monitor to identify training needs, trends and deficiencies
• Monitors high profile cases, SIRP tracker and OSH reports to ensure services occur according to policy
• Assists in communication and implementation of contract and site-specific policies and procedures
• Works closely with facility staff to ensure delivery of timely and effective healthcare services
• Ensure compliance with all facility and Company policies, Federal and State laws, regulations, and guidelines
• Coordinate patient care closely with security staff while maintaining a positive, collaborative relationship
• Maintains an ethical commitment to ensure confidentiality within the limits of a correctional environment

• Master’s degree in behavioral science required
• Fully licensed LMHC or LCSW required
• Experience in correctional environment preferred
• Must have ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with staff and institutional administration
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
