Position Summary

We are seeking a site leader to manage the front line operation and to serve as an Operations Manager in our Olive Branch, Ms.  Primary Fulfillment Center.  This Safety and Process minded individual will be responsible for the hands-on day to day management and execution of our Fulfillment Center operations . Strong team building, a leader who manages from the front line by example and managing permanent and seasonal temporary employees in a high volume setting are a must.  Experience with chemical or Hazardous Material handling and storage is a plus.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Leads by example and acts as a role model to the team members onsite, in addition to peers across the Fulfillment organization & all teams within FBN
  • Maintains a servant leadership focus through the fostering of growth, coaching, training, and development of our front line team members
  • Ensures an unwavering commitment to safety, quality and our farmer first mentality 
  • Executes the day-to-day operations management of the Fulfillment Center
  • Manages, monitors, and applies data understanding to meet & exceed key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Implements and maintains 5S standards throughout the operations
  • Ensures that inventory is handled and recorded in line with all hazardous material, MSDS and manufacturer specifications 
  • Ensures a high level of process to system (WMS, TMS and ERP) integrity, capturing all virtual/physical movements and attaining world call inventory accuracy
  • Maintains a high level of collaboration and team building with cross functional departments through off-site, on-site, virtual 1:1’s, and standard meeting cadences 
  • Develops strong relationships with local partners including staffing agencies, carriers and facilities vendors
  • Willing to roll up sleeves to ensure consistency in daily delivery including the ability train for and operate lift truck, skid steer and pallet jacks
  • Represent FBN’s cultures and values through example every day

Minimum Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience managing front line warehousing, inventory and/or supply chain operations.
  • Forklift training and certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial engineering
  • Experience in ecommerce, fulfillment, and/or Distribution
  • Experience in continuous improvement and/or lean principles
  • Certification in Hazardous Material Handling and/or professional Supply Chain organizations. 
  • Agriculture background.
