Behavioral Health Program Director

As the Program Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and guiding clinical programs within the organization. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that promote resilience, health, and justice. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the overall success of our programs and the positive impact we have on the communities we serve.

Benefits:

• $100,000-$115,000 annually – 40 hours/week
• Approximately 7 weeks of paid time off per year (including holidays)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
• Current licensure in a related discipline (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical program setting, preferably within a school or community-based organization

Preferred: 

• Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills, including the ability to motivate and mentor staff members
• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, particularly those most impacted by systemic racism and poverty

Responsibilities:

• Ensure hiring, onboarding, and training of new staff (i.e. trainees, associates, supervisors). Ensures all staffing roles are fulfilled.
• Ensures employee files (offer letters, performance related documentations, annual reviews) are maintained with accuracy and within appropriate timeframes on BACR elected forms.
• Ensures accurate filing and communication across departments (i.e., People and Culture, HR, Industry Director) ensuring liability and risk management.
• Ensures accurate and timely staff timecard submission of staff.
• Administrative oversight of staff to ensure compliance with BACR policies, and protocols 
• Is a thought partner in supporting efforts emphasizing process improvement, employee wellbeing and retention.
• As guided by the Industry Director, is able and willing to partner with the Quality Assurance team on joint efforts to reduce liability and risk related to inaccurate and late data collection of staff.
• As requested by ID, participates in grant writing, submission and implementation of contract deliverables in order to support the financial stability of MH programs.
• Ensures monthly meetings with BACR partners. Acts as a liaison between partners and the industry director.
• Participates monthly with Managers and Directors within the Mental Health and Behavioral Health industry around efforts focused on quality assurance, cross functional alignment of teams, and staff engagement.
• Monitors and ensures all staff remain within compliance of mandatory HR and clinical trainings. 
• Oversees monthly ongoing clinical training of staff to ensure best practices and compliance with contract requirements, legal and ethical standards.
• Leads Monthly all staff meetings within the industry.
• Models and supports the learning and development of staff by engaging in trainings focused on performance enhancement.
• Provide clinical consultation and support to clinicians on an as needed basis.
• Create and deliver clinical / non- clinical trainings once per month as required by the need of staff.
• Develop and implement strategies that enhance effectiveness of clinician and supervisor role responsibilities.
