Job Description Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative R&D Manager to lead the research and development of our eyelash product lines. This role will focus on creating breakthrough products, enhancing existing designs and formulations, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Production, Product Development, and Quality Assurance.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in eyelash product development, strong project management capabilities, and a passion for driving innovation in the beauty industry.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage R&D projects from concept through commercialization for false eyelashes, adhesives, tools, and related accessories.
• Research and develop new materials, lash styles, application technologies, and sustainable solutions aligned with market trends and customer needs.
• Oversee prototype development, testing, and performance evaluation to ensure safety, functionality, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to source and validate raw materials and components.
• Work with the product development team to translate consumer insights into innovative product concepts.
• Monitor competitor products, global trends, and new technologies to drive innovation pipeline.
• Prepare and maintain technical standard samples and documentation, including product specifications, test reports, and regulatory filings.
• Manage the R&D budget and project timelines while ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Provide technical support to production and quality assurance teams to resolve formulation or process issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher
• 5+ years of experience in product development or R&D in the beauty industry (preferably with eyelashes or related categories).
• Fluency in Korean and English is required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; a strong team player who can collaborate cross-functionally and cross-culturally.
• Highly organized and proactive, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with project management platforms such as Asana, Monday.com, Getflow, Smartsheet for managing eyelash product workflows

The anticipated compensation range is

69,000.00 - 137,000.00 USD Annual

Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors including qualifications, education, experience, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
