Onsite/Remote:Onsite Position
This position is eligible for a flexible work schedule arrangement at the present time. The arrangement may be delayed for training or other job acclimation purposes and remains subject to change.
Your Responsibilities
As an Engineer, Fuel Systems for John Deere Power Systems located in Waterloo, IA, you will….
- Provide planning and direction to suppliers and participate in regular supplier review meetings to track and drive resolution of key issues.
- Review and revise fuel system qualification plans for introduction of new fuel system components, support JDPS and vehicle partner durability testing.
- Support implementation of System Engineering/DFR - process and requirements, Participate in fuel system reviews design, FMEA & DPAR.
- Manage any known non-conformance NCCA's, maintain k-briefs and ensure application of the fuel system is in conformance with the supplier requirements.

What Skills You Need
- 3 to 5 years of fuel system application or engine component development/PV&V
- Excellent analytical skills – Possess the ability to blend analytical and experimental procedures to produce high quality data reports
- Excellent communications, presentation and organizational skills to manage fuel system program as required
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%
What Makes You Stand Out
- Experience in international project management
- Having experience with statistical experimental methods such as Design of Experiments and Design for Six Sigma training
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, or Aeronautical Engineering
- Advanced degree in similar or relevant disciplines preferred
