Summary 

As a Turn Maintenance Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of transforming living spaces for our new tenants! We're seeking a dedicated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to roll up their sleeves to get the job done. As a key player in our maintenance team, you'll assist in repairing and revitalizing apartments, ensuring they are move-in ready and exceeding our tenants' expectations. The ideal candidate will be someone who embraces challenges and values teamwork.

What You’ll Do:  

· Repairing and Restoring - assist maintenance staff in preparing units to be in make-ready condition.

· Maintain cleanliness - perform basic ground keeping, maintenance duties, and general cleaning duties to ensure the property is in tip-top condition. 

· Safety first – be knowledgeable and practice within safety protocols and regulations. 

· Exceptional hospitality - be the friendly face answering residents' repair calls promptly.

· Help the team – jump in and perform other duties and tasks that are needed.

Who You Are: 

· Has prior maintenance experience (required: at least 6 months)

· Experience in maintenance/repairs for multi-family or commercial property (student housing experience and certificates preferred)

· Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements, OSHA standards, and other environmental safety standards.
 

Work Environment and Physical Demands: 

· Ability to work inside and outside work, potential be exposed to weather extremes. 

· Ability to walk, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, and reach on a regular and consistent basis.

· Ability to work 40 hours per week during June, July, and August, or as schedule requires.

· Ability to operate equipment safely and effectively and work independently to stay on task.

· Ability to utilize a computer for basic tasks such clocking in and clocking out, using email, etc.
