The Division of Child Psychiatry at WashU is seeking to hire a Clinical Program Manager for the Adolescent DBT and Family Resiliency Program (ADBT) and CAMS Service. The position will provide both direct clinical services and program leadership and will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to implement novel models of care delivery and measure outcomes.The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for delivering high-quality ADBT and CAMS treatment to adolescents and families while also overseeing program development, clinical training, and supervision of staff. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ADBT and CAMS, a passion for adolescent mental health, and strong leadership and supervision skills to guide a multidisciplinary team in evidence-based care. Additionally, this candidate would have experience growing strong teams and implementing processes and procedures based on department standards and the efficacy of the program.
This position will work with and provide trauma-informed interventions to adolescents with mental health symptoms, particularly emotion dysregulation, suicidal and non-suicidal ideation or self-injury, depression, anxiety, or other mental health and trauma disorders, along with other co-occurring conditions.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Clinical Services:
- Provide individual DBT and CAMS therapy and facilitate DBT skills groups for adolescents and their families.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and risk management for program participants.
- Participate in DBT and CAMS consultation team meetings to ensure adherence to the treatment model.
- Collaborate with families, schools, and community providers to support comprehensive care.
- Keep appropriate documentation in EMR and preparation for sessions
Leadership, Training, and Supervision:
- Provide clinical supervision to therapists, trainees, and other Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) team members.
- Lead training initiatives to ensure fidelity to DBT and CAMS and promote professional development within the team and throughout the CAP.
- Work with department and division leadership on program evaluation, quality improvement, and strategic planning.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring of new clinical staff and trainees.
- Coordinate with administrative staff to ensure smooth program operations, including scheduling, compliance, and outcome tracking.
- Stay current with DBT and CAMS research and best practices, integrating new findings into program development.
- Other duties as assigned.
