THE JOB:

As an Environmental Services Specialist at MGM Grand, you will be responsible for cleaning, restoring, and shampooing all floors to maintain a pristine environment. Your welcoming smile and exceptional service will enhance the guest experience by helping create a clean, inviting atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression on our guests!

THE STARTING RATE: $22.3083 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Strip, finish, high-speed burnish, spray buff, neutral clean, restore, etc. all floor surfaces as necessary and/or assigned

• Perform all cleaning, restoration and shampooing of all floors assigned

• Exercise care in the use of cleaning supplies, methods, and equipment, while following all safety guidelines

• Report needed maintenance and safety hazards in assigned areas to supervisor

• Contain and clean hazardous materials covered under the Code Blue specifications

• Work indoors and outdoors and is exposed to environmental factors such as excessive noise, seasonal heat and cold, hard to reach and unclean work areas

• Is exposed to cigarette smoke, hazardous materials and equipment

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required

• 6+ Months of Prior relevant experience as a specialist, utility porter and/or training from the Culinary Training Center required

• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
