- Position Summary
- Full-time position available on or after September 1, 2026, for College of Education, Kinesiology and Social Work.
This position’s responsibilities are carried out under general direction. The incumbent is responsible for performing the full range of administrative and analytical work related to program and policy research, analysis, development, evaluation, reporting, and operational and fiscal support for the College of Education, Kinesiology and Social Work. The position independently coordinates and performs complex administrative assignments supporting college operations, accreditation activities, partnership activities, personnel and fiscal processes, and program administration, and serves as a liaison among faculty, staff, university offices, and external partners.
- Job Duties
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Administer assigned programs, including conducting program and policy research, analysis, reporting, and evaluation.
- Review program workflows and recommend procedural improvements.
- Develop and maintain program documentation, guidelines, and internal procedures.
- Monitor program compliance with institutional requirements, regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Coordinate program activities, including annual or cyclical processes (e.g., reviews, renewals, reporting cycles), with campus and external partners.
- Conduct program reviews; analyze trends and prepare summaries, reports, and recommendations.
- Organize and facilitate staff meetings, trainings, and events.
- Coordinate communications related to program updates, changes, and initiatives.
- Manage requests requiring dean-level review; coordinate routing, documentation, and follow-up with HR and Budget offices.
- Ensure timely processing of personnel, fiscal, and programmatic actions; track status and ensure completion.
- Serve as liaison with the college budget office on travel, purchasing, and related requests; assist with financial documentation and basic fiscal analysis.
- Conduct market research and environmental scans to support program development, assessment, and operational decision-making.
- Assist with facilities coordination, including identifying needs and working with campus units on space and operational issues.
- Coordinate college publications and website content updates to support program visibility and communications.
- Analyze operational and fiscal data to support planning, reporting, and decision-making.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and analytical materials for management review.
- Perform administrative specialty work, including HR coordination, contract tracking, and systems support.
- Coordinate administrative projects involving multiple functional areas and stakeholders.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate day-to-day college operations and provide lead work direction to administrative staff.
- Coordinate workflows across functions to ensure efficiency and compliance with university policies.
- Develop, document, and implement operational procedures aligned with established college goals and policies.
- Serve as a resource for interpreting university and college policies and procedures.
- Oversee data management systems; ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and accessibility.
- Develop reports and analyze trends to support planning, accreditation, and operational improvements.
- Represent the college in meetings and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
- Research and interpret policies and procedures to support consistent application.
- Develop and update procedural documentation and guidance materials.
- Participate in administrative system updates, testing, and process improvement efforts.
- Translate policy changes into operational procedures and workflow guidance.
- Coordinate communications and training related to policy, process, or system changes.
- Develop presentations and materials to support communication and knowledge sharing.
- Provide training and guidance to administrative staff on processes and systems.
- Serve as a point of contact for policy and procedural clarification.
- May be required to obtain additional training and/or certification as part of professional development, based on department and/or campus needs, to stay current with industry standards.
- At the direction of appropriate administrator, may provide support to other areas as needed.
