Job Description
Information Technology Governance Program is a critical role and is responsible for providing expert support in the establishment and sustainment of an Information Technology Governance Program. The successful candidate will be pivotal in ensuring that IT systems and processes align with the organization's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive IT governance program in alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency.
- Identify potential risks in IT processes and systems, assess their impact, and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices, and ensure the organization's IT practices remain compliant.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improving IT governance and performance.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation on IT governance processes and provide regular reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with various business units to understand their IT needs, goals, and challenges and work towards aligning IT governance with these requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IT governance framework.
- Provide training and support to staff members to enhance their understanding of IT governance principles and practices.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT governance, risk management, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks (e.g., COBIT, ITIL).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and/or ITIL are highly desirable.
Clearance Requirement:
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have a public trust clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
