Senior Software Engineer

Join CIeNET to help evaluate and improve next generation AI services such as coding assistant and generating SQL queries. We provide continuous E2E testing, bug triage and bug fix of the generative AI services. You will review, analyze, and fix bugs, and be involved in the development work of the AI coding assistant. You will serve as the local technical representative, engaging in technical communication and discussions with clients. You will react to new improvements and feature rollouts as the product moves through development and work with developers to triage and debug issues as well as identify automated tests to accelerate the testing process and improve the product quality. RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Bug fix and development work of the generative AI-powered assistant for IDEs, such as VSCode and JetBrains
2. Represent the remote project team in the project meetings with client managers and technical personnel to discuss technical matters
3. Work closely with developers and other test engineers to provide additional feedback on the features and usability of the product
4. Validate and rate code generated by the code generation models
5. Design prompts and contribute to datasets to expand assessment of model capabilities

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant fields.
2. 3+ years of experience as a cloud solution key developer or relevant experience.
3. 3+ years of experience working with one of the following cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
4. Strong hands-on experience with Java and JavaScript
5. Strong hands-on experience with cloud-based services.
6. Experience with DevOps practices.
7. Experience designing scalable enterprise application architectures.
8. Experience working with a cross-functional team to implement software solutions.
9. Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
10. Strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills and is highly self-motivated.
11. Experience leading and driving technical projects.
12. Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

1. Experience working with LLMs and prompt engineering。
2. Experience with automated testing tools.
3. Experience with performance optimization and benchmarking.
4. Experience with responsibility for analysis or troubleshooting of a cloud-native solution in production.
5. Knowledge of solving performance issues.
