The Corporate Programs Marketing Manager will be a crucial member of the team, focused on driving and executing Optiv’s global events. In this highly visible role, this person is responsible for the strategic execution of a variety of large industry shows, internal kickoffs, roadshows, virtual experiences, and partner-end user conferences. They will be responsible for strategically bringing excitement, innovation, and excellence to our programs to amplify and support Optiv’s brand and business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who understands the business and evolving priorities and how they apply to events to deliver strong ROI and create meaningful engagements for attendees.

How you'll make an impact
- Develop, advance, manage and execute strategic global corporate marketing programs – from the development of the strategy and plan, to content oversight, pre-event campaign strategy, event execution, and post-event analysis and evaluation.
- Devise and execute events and similar programs that reflect the company’s culture, business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Brand & Comms teams to identify and create program content that educates and inspires the cybersecurity community while driving awareness and revenue to the organization.
- Negotiate all logistics including sponsorships, exhibit presence, booth staffing, communications, and responsible for post event reporting and analytics while operating within designated budget.
- Manage timely communications to internal clients, including executives, throughout all phases of the event programs.
- Develop and manage marketing program campaigns in Marketo from concept to execution to measurement.
- Work closely with the broader marketing team to promote event presence via multiple channels and track event ROI and contribution to the company's KPIs.
- Manage hotel/event site, exhibiting companies, and other key vendor relationships effectively as they relate to each event in order to create, plan, an execute a successful program.
- Collaborating with Optiv’s partner community on corporate program sponsorships throughout the year, which entails clear communications, timely responses, processing and tracking contracts, and working with billing.
- Work with the Global Partner Alliance and Partner Marketing teams to identify and evaluate key technology partner campaign event strategies that can be driven at a national level to drive and influence sales.
- Work with channel community to optimize and leverage partner marketing development funds (MDF) .
- Work with internal stakeholders to evaluate and influence utilization of funding pools to ensure investment dollars are optimized in helping Optiv and partner achieve their goals.
- Travel to events as required, serving as lead on event organization, when applicable.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree required.
- 7+ years of professional, business marketing event management experience including large event management, virtual experience creation and execution, executive events, speaking engagements at conferences, etc.
- Proven ability to lead multifaceted initiatives and partner cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once, set priorities, work independently, problem solve, improvise, and function as part of a team that must perform under pressure.
- Demonstrable understanding of all phases of event marketing and planning including promotions, traffic drivers, staff training, logistics, KPIs and metrics.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all necessary stakeholders.
- Impeccable attention to detail.
- Experience working with product manufacturers and distribution channels.
- Experience working in Cvent, Marketo, ON24, Salesforce, NetSuite preferred.
- Experience writing external facing marketing correspondence that supports marketing events, lead generation programs or marketing communication efforts.
- Solid track record of working in fast-paced, dynamic high-tech environment.
