Position Overview:
As the Global Payroll Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the end-to-end payroll process for our multinational workforce. This position requires a thorough understanding of payroll practices, regulations, and compliance across multiple countries. Your primary focus will be on utilizing Workday and global payroll service providers to efficiently process and manage payroll for our global employee base.
Responsibilities:
Payroll Management: Oversee all aspects of payroll processing for multiple international locations, managing the global payroll team and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of payroll to employees. Workday Expertise: Utilize your comprehensive knowledge of Workday to implement best practices, optimize system configurations, and streamline payroll processes, including integrations with Oracle Cloud and third party payroll service providers.Compliance and Regulations: Stay up-to-date with global payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements, ensuring full compliance in all operating countries.Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve payroll processes, automating where possible to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Vendor Management: Collaborate with third-party payroll providers to maintain effective working relationships and to ensure seamless payroll service delivery.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll data and alignment with broader company objectives.Data Security and Confidentiality: Ensure the highest level of data security and confidentiality in handling sensitive payroll information.Analytic Analysis: Leverage strong analytic skills to provide KPI and variance analyses to various accounting and finance teams to assist in monthly reporting and forecasting. Auditing and Reporting: Conduct regular payroll audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions. Generate comprehensive payroll reports for management review.Employee Support: Address payroll-related inquiries and concerns from employees, providing exceptional customer service and timely resolution.Training and Development: Train and support HR and finance teams in utilizing Workday Payroll effectively, promoting self-service and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field. Relevant certifications in payroll management are a plus.8+ years of experience in payroll with three years of  experience as a Payroll Manager or similar role, with a focus on managing global payroll operations.Extensive experience and proficiency in Workday is essential. Experience with Oracle Cloud is helpfulIn-depth knowledge of international payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements across various countries.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.Ability to handle confidential information and maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.Demonstrated leadership abilities, able to manage a team and foster a positive work environment.Flexibility to adapt to changing payroll requirements in a dynamic global setting.A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
