Job Summary

Summary:   Ensures the proper assembly and service of foods. Maintains sanitation and safety of the department's service and utility areas. Supervises retail associates. 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Trains and directs retail clerks.
• Assist in receiving and checking in merchandise.
• Stock shelves, counters and tables with merchandise.
• Sets up advertising displays and arranges merchandise to promote sales.
• Stamps, marks and tags price on merchandise.
• Obtains merchandise requested by customer or receives merchandise selected by customer.
• Totals merchandise price and tax to determine final bill amount.
• Wraps and bags merchandise.
• Keeps record of sales, prepares inventory and orders merchandise.
• Keeps showroom clean and orderly.
• Answers customers' questions about merchandise location, price and use.
• Handles escalated customer service concerns.
• Complies with sanitation, ServSafe and safety requirements.
• Maintains clean and safe work environment; performs job safely.
• Assist in website upkeep by updating products, inventory, and other website based tasks.
• Attend outside events as needed, including setup and breakdown of displays, transporting merchandise/registers, and overseeing staff.
• Be able to obtain and maintain Levy License and valid Driver’s License to drive merch truck.
• Initiate/complete store transfers to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
