Overview:
Morrison Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Director of Food & Nutrition Services to oversee the daily operations of our Foodservice department at White Plains Hospital. This leadership role is integral to ensuring a high-quality patient dining experience, maintaining strong client relationships, managing financial outcomes, and developing a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and proactive leader with a passion for excellence in healthcare foodservice.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the Food & Nutrition Services department in alignment with budgetary goals.
Ensure superior quality and presentation of all food served to patients, guests, and staff.
Direct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with patients, clients, hospital leadership, and other departments.
Champion professional growth, engagement, and development of all department team members.
Integrate foodservice operations with hospital goals and departmental initiatives.
Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost control processes to ensure efficiency and value.
Drive operational excellence, patient satisfaction, and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required (Hospitality, Nutrition, Business, or related field preferred); equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of 5 years of proven leadership experience in healthcare foodservice.
Required experience managing foodservice operations within an acute care hospital setting.
2–4 years of direct operational management experience, including purchasing and inventory control.
Strong knowledge of current food trends, quality standards, sanitation practices, and cost control.
Experience with P&L accountability and contract-managed services is highly desirable.
ServSafe® certification is a plus.
Must be a forward-thinking, proactive leader who represents Morrison with professionalism and excellence.
