- Repairs, installs, and maintains machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe/electrical systems in commercial or industrial facilities.
- Follows specifications, blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings using hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, and measuring/testing instruments.
- Inspects and tests machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic diagnostic tools.
- Identifies malfunctions by listening for unusual sounds and discussing operational issues with supervisors or maintenance staff.
- Dismantles defective machines and installs new or repaired parts according to specifications and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other machine components using rags, brushes, and grease guns.
- Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the facility.
- Operates cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts when needed.
- Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures as required.
- GED or high school diploma.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of basic math skills, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
