SUMMARY
The Director of Human Resources at CLEARFORK ACADEMY is responsible for planning, leading, directing, developing, and coordinating the policies and activities of the organization, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy. Additional responsibilities include applying Clearfork Academy core processes to the recruitment, on-boarding, and ongoing oversight of both employment and internship applicants. The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for coordinating employee and intern development activities and trainings based on the requirements set forth by Clearfork Academy policies and procedures, academic institutions, and accreditation or licensing agencies such as Texas Human and Health Services and Joint Commission.

Population Served: Person’s meeting DSM 5 criteria for substance use disorders with or without co-occurring psychiatric illness.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention. Assesses hiring needs, develops new positions, and creates and maintains all job descriptions for the organization.
- Oversee all aspects of employee recruitment and retention including management of applicant tracking processes, orientation of new hires, development of existing employees, execution of disciplinary procedures and performance improvement plans, exit interviews and offboarding.
- Develops and implements policies related to human resources functions.
- Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
- Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Responsible for monitoring and auditing core competency training for roles of interns and staff within the time frames required by Clearfork Academy, state licensing agencies, and accreditation agencies.
