The Director ISC Excellence & Projects leads the global teams that focus on driving expertise in the following areas of supply chain execution: lean, safety, quality, automation, data, project management and trade compliance. Additionally, this role serves as the executive leader supporting several sites across the U.S. and is a key player in strategic growth projects.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Global Manufacturing Strategy: Develop strategies that optimize the manufacturing sites to be tenacious about meeting customer commitments and provides competitive differentiation. Conduct regular assessments of our global manufacturing portfolio to ensure strategic alignment with business goals and sustainability objectives.
Operational Excellence - Lead continuous improvement efforts across the supply chain, focusing on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction. Utilize lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational excellence.
Project Management: Manage and conduct due-diligence on a variety of confidential projects, ensuring all sensitive information is handled with the utmost discretion and integrity. Oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of high-impact projects within the supply chain. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Inspirational Leadership - Engage, motivate, and inspire operations and cross functional teams to deliver value. Grow and develop functional team members to influence globally.
YOU HAVE:
BA or BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or similar field is a must
MBA or other graduate degree preferred
Minimum of 15 years of demonstrated experience leading international supply chain teams
Advanced knowledge of Lean Methodologies
Bilingual strongly preferred
Ability to be an inspiring leader with a combination of analytic rigor, conceptual ability, innovation, creativity, mental flexibility, intercultural empathy and judgment
Ability to build and maintain effective work relationships at all levels both internally and externally (customers, suppliers, etc.)
Approximately 30% of travel, including international travel, is required
Pay Transparency:
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range:
$175,000 - $250,000
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual or long-term incentives.
