Division Information

PACCAR Leasing, a PACCAR division, was founded in 1980 to provide premium Kenworth and Peterbilt vehicles to leasing and rental customers. LOCATION: Dallas and Grand Prairie, TX

Requisition Summary

The General Manager of PacLease Customer Direct has overall responsibility for our remote operations team located in Dallas with general comprehensive oversight of PACCAR's investment in the location and customer interfacing program support. The General Manager develops business plan goals and objectives and carries out appropriate actions to achieve them. General areas of responsibility include:

Job Functions / Responsibilities

  • Directs both Lease and Rental sales activities at both company store locations to include marketing/market evaluation, sales cold calls, sales presentations, overseeing rate preparation, client relations, pipeline management, closing methods, contract preparation, sales blitzes and sales staff goal-setting/motivation.
  • Develop individualized market development strategies to maximize profitable customer penetration and to create incremental product sales for PacLease.
  • Collaborate with National Account Sales Executives on sales initiatives and profitable growth for PacLease Company Stores in Texas.
  • Facilitates direct sales results for new Lease and Rental customers in the Texas Market
  • Recruit/Hire/Develop direct report responsibilities for Lease and Rental sales personnel to achieve forecasted growth.
  • Provides operation support in the management of administrative duties and staff. This may include the areas of service operations, licensing and registration compliance, insurance compliance, fuel-tax compliance, accounts receivable and collection efforts and continuous improvement projects.
  • Assist General Manager in the development of Business Plan to include annual/long-term planning, capital budget process, monthly reconciliation of Actual vs. Plan, and mid-month forecasting leveraging industry trends and data driven methodology.
  • Foster and grow a shared vision on team building.  
  • Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Five to ten years of related Sales and/or management experience, preferably in a full-service leasing environment.
  • Strong skills in leadership, management, organization skills, communication (presenting, influencing, negotiating, networking), self-motivation, and adaptability are essential.
  • Experience with CRM Systems or SalesForce.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, etc.).
  • Commercial equipment specification expertise, preferably in the heavy commercial truck industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sales teams.
  • Collaborate across teams and Influence others.
  • Achieve results through Managerial Effectiveness.
  • Act with Integrity

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Required.
  • MBA preferred.
