Position Summary
The Senior Analyst is primary responsible for providing financial and analytical expertise to support the achievement of business goals and strategic objectives of the ETG Sales Team. In this role, the Senior Analyst develops, maintains, and leads the day-to- day management of the department’s financial plan, budgets, forecasts, O&M accounts, commissions and After- Tax Margin calculations and monitors operational performance against these measures. In addition to performing financial and operational modelling, the Financial Analyst is expected to leverage Business Intelligence tools and optimize Sales performance through predictive analytics.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
Equivalent work may be considered in lieu of degree.
Develop and manage customer growth budgets, annual financial plan and monthly forecasts in coordination with Sales Management and Financial Planning.
Lead the day-to-day management and forecasting of the department’s O&M accounts, including processing invoices, tracking expenditures, reconciling accounts, and explaining variances to Sales Management, accounting and financial planning.
Prepare and oversee monthly Sales commissions and monthly Sales Results Report on customer growth and margin performance.
Perform Sales’ accounting functions including: accruals, accounts payable, and expense reports.
Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant trends and opportunities for improvement in a Business Intelligence environment.
Collect, interpret, and analyze business data in relation to Sales KPIs and make recommendations in support of strategic decision making for sales growth.
Compile and prepare information in response to data requests and/or regulatory reporting needs.
Assist Major Account Managers in rate/revenue calculations, large account billing analyses and service agreement preparation and communication.
Engage in predictive analytics to identify opportunities and positively impact growth while assisting in the continuous improvement of existing processes.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills:
Five years’ experience in performing financial or operational analysis and reporting, in a sales environment, preferred.
