What You’ll Do

As Business Information Security Officer (BISO) you’ll be part of our Cybersecurity Office located virtually. Reporting directly to the Cyber Defense Director, this role will be responsible for all aspects of cybersecurity for the Government Technology Business Unit (GT). This person will work with the cybersecurity office, business and IT partners across the enterprise to ensure strong executive sponsorship and engagement from the right team of stakeholders and subject matter experts. This role is an integral lead for the cybersecurity of the GT environment and will assist in overseeing all aspects of the program.

 You’ll get to: 

  • Function as a cybersecurity champion and facilitate all aspects of operations between Business Leaders, Cyber Security Teams, and IT teams.
  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining the organization’s security posture, managing risk, ensuring compliance, overseeing security training, and investigating security incidents.
  • Leverage the latest security tools and technologies to continually improve and move security programs forward as the threat landscape changes.
  • Lead and represent Business Units during government audits.
  • Assess and implement secure technical controls according to CMMC 2.0 and NIST SP800-171 rev. 3.
  • Provide guidance on the latest threats/vulnerabilities and assist teams with remediation projects.
  • Track remediation projects throughout various sites and provide reports to leadership.
  • Collaborate and partner with product and engineering partners like managers, architects, and developers in roadmap planning, prioritization, and implementation.
  • Work closely with the CISO to identify risks and strategize minimizing risk within a complex environment.

You also have: 

  • BS degree in Business, Information Security, Management Information Systems or related major Cybersecurity degree and/or certifications like CISSP or CISM strongly preferred
  • 5-8 years of cybersecurity experience in managing heavily regulated cybersecurity programs.
  • Proficiency in CMMC, NIST 800-171, NIST RMF, ISO 27001, FEDRAMP or other Cyber Security Frameworks.
  • Proven experience managing cyber security programs for medium to large enterprises.
  • High adaptability and the ability to effectively communicate complex technical issues to individuals without a technical background.
  • Working knowledge of Enterprise Cyber Security Tools and Microsoft 365.
  • The ability to perform security assessments with findings being populated and maintained in a POAM.
  • Strong analytical skills, including data analysis, , trend analysis, problem solving and project management skills
  • Manufacturing and OT cybersecurity experience required
