BIM Junior Specialist - Houston

This position is classified as hourly, non-exempt. The hiring hourly range for this role is $28.85 per hour dependent upon experience and qualifications.

Summary/Objective: 

Rogers DeSimone Structural Engineering, LLC managed by DeSimone Consulting Engineering, DPC is seeking a Junior BIM Specialist. This is an Entry Level position that teaches competency in BIM to support the development of LOD300 BIM models to produce construction documentation and or other technical services of the company while working on mid to high-rise building projects. 

The candidate will assist in creating LOD300 BIM models using the Autodesk Revit application to generate layouts and drawings of concrete, concrete masonry unit, steel and timber structures, etc. consisting of plans, elevations, sections and details. Interpret Architectural, MEP and Structural drawings and models for design coordination. Reviews design and confers with engineering and BIM supervisors to verify or resolve details not completely defined.  Maintains and provides quality control and quality assurance (QA/QC) review of BIM projects and other duties as required. 

Required Skills and Experience 

• High School diploma.  
• Minimum one (1) year BIM experience required.   
• General knowledge of the Revit Platform.  
• General understanding of 3D BIM.
• Good communication skills, team orientated and ability to multitask.  
• Build and concurrently maintain a minimum of 4-6 BIM models.
