What you need to know about the role

The Small/Medium Business & Financial Services (SMB-FS) Engineering team is looking for a talented, self-driven, technical business operations professional. The Business Operations Analyst will report to the Chief of Staff andle will be focused on teams within SMB-FS and willto build a culture of data-driven decision-making to the teams.

We partner with many facets of the business and collaborate with other business operations teams to tackle projects at scale. We are energetic, wear many hats, and are comfortable with frequent context switching.

Job Description:

Your day to day 

In your day-to-day role you will: 

  • Prepare & analyze data such as Census, OKRs, KPIs, Roadmaps and other reporting requirements.  Work with engineering teams to ensure data hygiene is maintained reporting is up to date and accurate. 
  • Assist with workforce planning and capacity planning of both full time employees and contract workers. 
  • Support BizOps team with the creation, maintenance and execution of training, communications, and best practices for the org.   
  • Develop messaging, ranging from internal communications to presentations.
  • Support Employee Engagement efforts in partnership with HR.
  • Lead or contribute to special projects as needed. 


What do you need to bring

  • 3-5+ years of experience in planning, business operations or technical project management
  • Strong MS Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • High delivery focus with an emphasis on task ownership and completion
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment 
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change, comfortable dealing with ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Ability to work well in a cross-functional, matrixed management environment
  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike
  • Ability to balance business partnership with the need to exercise independent judgment and to raise issues in a timely and constructive manner
